WHY ARE WE SWITCHING CARD PROCESSORS?*Our current contract was up for renewal and it gave us the opportunity to re-evaluate our card priorities and needs. We considered and analyzed 5 different card vendors and are excited to partner with PSCU to better serve our members and their families!
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY NEW CARD?
*Your anticipated mail date is September 11th. Our card distribution center is in Chesapeake, Virginia so give it some time to hit your mailbox.
WHEN WILL MY CURRENT CARD STOP WORKING?*Your current card will stop working @2:59 am CST on October 2nd.
WHEN DO I ACTIVATE THE NEW CARD?*You may activate your new card at any time after receiving. However, it will not work until 3:00 am CST on October 2nd.
WILL I HAVE APPLE PAY, GOOGLE PAY OR SAMSUNG PAY?*Yes! Your new card will have mobile wallet capabilities. However, due to additional programming requirements, these features will be delayed until 2020.
WILL I HAVE THE SAME NUMBERS AS MY OLD CARD?
*No, your new card will be issued with all new numbers and a new expiration date.
DO I NEED TO UPDATE ALL AUTO AND RECURRING PAYMENTS TO THE NEW CARD NUMBER?*Yes, none of your auto/recurring payments will update to your new card.
HOW DO I KNOW IF A DEBIT CARD TRANSACTION IS SET UP AS RECURRING?*Review your statements. If there is an asterisk included in the description for a debit withdrawal, it is a recurring transaction. Here is an example of what to look for:

HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY NEW CARD?*Once you received your new card in the mail please call the phone # listed on the sticker on your card to activate.
WHAT DO I DO IF I AM OUT OF TOWN WHEN THE CARDS SWITCH?
*Make sure to activate your new debit card before you leave for vacation and take the new card with you. Your current debit card will stop working at 2:59 am (CST) on October 2nd.
WHAT ENHANCEMENTS COME WITH THE NEW CARD?
*You will now have digital wallet options such as Apple, Google and Samsung Pay. However the digital wallet features will not be available until 2020. You will also have enhanced cardholder controls to set up your own alerts and travel notices. To name a few!
WILL I NEED TO UPDATE MY PIN #?*Yes, but you are more than welcome to update it to your old pin # if you like.
IS THERE AN APP I SHOULD DOWNLOAD?
I HAVE A CREDIT CARD TOO, WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY NEW CARD?*See separate Credit FAQ. Your new credit card will be shipped mid to late October with a conversion date of November 11, 2019.

WHAT ENHANCEMENTS COME WITH THE NEW CARD?*You will have enhanced cardholder controls to set up your own alerts and travel notices.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE REWARDS PROGRAM?*We will continue to offer 1.5% cash back rewards on our rewards program. Starting in March 2020 you will manage your monthly rewards through our new card portal. The minimum redemption will be $5.00 and may be processed by you as a statement credit or as a transfer to your Serve share account. In addition, you will have access to participate and enroll in the Cash Back Mall. This is a free program and allows you to earn additional Cash Back and rewards by simply shopping at some of your favorite retailers.
WILL MY RATE CHANGE?*No, your rate will stay the same
WHEN WILL MY CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS BE DUE?*Your credit card payments will continue to be due on the 28th of each month. However, your billing cycle will change from the 1st of each month to approx. the 2nd business day of each month.
WHERE WILL I SEND MY CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS?*You will no longer send your payments directly to our 423 E Court address. Starting in December, your payments should be sent to our lockbox at PO Box 660493, Dallas, TX 75266-0493
WILL MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS LOOK DIFFERENT?*Your credit card statement will no longer be a part of your regular Serve monthly statement. Starting in December, your credit card statement will come from our new card processor. Although the information will be the same, the look and feel may be slightly different.
WILL MY ONLINE BANKING LOOK DIFFERENT?
CAN I STILL MAKE CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS WITH THE "QUICK TRANSFER" OPTION ON ITS ME 247?
IS THERE AN APP I SHOULD DOWNLOAD?*Yes, there will be a separate Serve Card App you can download to manage your card. We will let you know as soon as it is available (Tentatively late November). Once available, you will go to the app store and search "Serve CU Cards" to download.

NEW CARD - Enjoy using your newly issued Serve debit card. Remember to update any pre-authorized or recurring transactions with your new debit card information.5:00 am (CST)
