2024 Board of Directors:

Are you an advocate for Serve Credit Union? Do you have an interest in getting more involved and being a voice for our members? One major difference between a credit union and other financial institutions is that a credit union is a member owned financial cooperative governed by a dedicated, volunteer Board of Directors. That’s right, our Board of Directors is made up of members just like you!

If you are at least 18 years of age, a member in good standing, and passionate about Serve Credit Union, consider nominating yourself for election to the Board. We have three positions up for election and each will serve a three-year term.

To facilitate the nomination process, Serve’s Board of Directors appoints a Nominating Committee to recruit qualified candidates. This year’s Nominating Committee Members include Gene Haigh, Dale Bruce, and Nick Brockman.

If interested in learning more about our Board, please contact members of the Nominating Committee or Jami Weems, Serve CEO, at 515.243.2677. The 2024 Board Application can be found below. Electronic submission of the Board application is required, and the application must be received by May 27, 2024, at 5 pm. No late or incomplete applications will be accepted.

The Nominating Committee will review the candidates and present a list of eligible candidates in early June 2024, prior to the voting period. No nominations will be accepted from the floor at the annual meeting.

Members will be able to vote in 1 of 2 ways: Voting through a secure voting website or in person at the annual meeting. A membership shall have one vote regardless of the number of shares held by the member.

Board Election results will be announced at Serve’s 93rd Annual Meeting on July 11th, 2024 at The Des Moines Heritage Center -The Depot behind Serve Credit Union’s Court Ave Branch. Doors will open at 4:30 pm.
