What sets credit unions apart from other financial institutions is our unique structure: we are owned and governed by our members. That means Serve Credit Union’s Board of Directors is made up of volunteers—members just like you—who are committed to serving the best interests of our members and community.

Why Join the Board?

If you’re at least 18 years old, a member in good standing, and enthusiastic about Serve Credit Union’s mission, consider nominating yourself for a position on the Board of Directors. This year, we have three open positions, each serving a three-year term.

How to Apply

Our Nominating Committee, appointed by the Board, is here to guide you through the process and recruit qualified candidates. This year’s committee members are:

  • Dave Ness

  • Mike Morgan

Click the button below to access the 2026 Board Application. Applications must be submitted electronically and received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026. Please note: late or incomplete applications cannot be accepted.

Next Steps

The Nominating Committee will review all applications and announce eligible candidates in March 2026, prior to the voting period. Nominations will not be accepted from the floor at the annual meeting, so be sure to apply on time.

How to Vote

Serve Credit Union members will have two options to vote:

  • Online: Through a secure voting platform.

  • In-person: At the annual meeting.

A member is entitled to one vote, regardless of the number of shares held.

Board Election results will be announced at Serve’s 94th Annual Meeting on April 17, 2025, at The Shop DSM- 901 Cherry Street, Des Moines. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m.
