Fraud Alert - Please Read!

We have received reports of fraudulent phone calls from scammers impersonating Serve Credit Union's Fraud Department.

Although Serve Credit Union's Fraud Department may contact you for suspected fraud on your debit or credit card, never click on an unrequested link or attachment and do not provide:

  • Online Banking username or password

  • Authentication codes sent to you via text or email

  • Full 16-digit card numbers

  • PIN numbers

  • CVV codes (3-digit code on the back of your debit or credit card)

If you're unsure whether a call is legitimate, hang up immediately and contact us directly at 515.243.2677

While the phone numbers, details, and transaction scenarios vary, the common themes observed are:

  • Caller ID spoofing using Serve Credit Union's phone number

  • Requests for full Debit or Credit Card information

  • Requests for you to provide an Authentication Code

  • Instructing you to not login to your Online Banking for a period of time

As your trusted financial partner, protecting your personal and financial information is our top priority. If you believe you've shared information with a scammer or notice suspicious account activity, please contact us immediately and login to your Online Banking to identify potential fraudulent transactions.
