Serve Credit Union Awards $3,000 in scholarships at their 95th Annual Meeting
DES MOINES- Serve Credit Union, a financial cooperative that serves those who serve the community, recently announced the three recipients of its $3,000 scholarship program.
Annually, Serve offers scholarships to members and their families to put towards their higher education. This year, each receipt received a $1,000 scholarship.
The awardees include:
Alyssa Eginoire - University of Iowa - Psychology, Criminology, and Forensic Psychology
Lauren Hahn - University of Kansas - Interior Design
Mallory Lovejoy - University of Nebraska Omaha - Pre-Med
Each applicant is required to share their future plans, degree, volunteer history, activities, and answer an essay question. This year's essay question: “Serve Credit Union exists to strengthen the communities we serve. What is one prominent issue facing your community today that you feel passionate about? If given the resources, how would you help create positive, lasting change?”
“We are grateful for the time and thought each recipient put into sharing their perspectives and passions with us. Their ideas, goals, and commitment to making a difference in our communities remind us why investing in the next generation is so important. As they begin or continue their journey in higher education, we wish them the very best in all that lies ahead,” says Hayley Vanderpool, Serve Credit Union’s Marketing and Member Events Coordinator. "Serve Credit Union is honored to support them today and looks forward to cheering them on in the years to come.”
The scholarship receipts were recognized at Serve Credit Union’s 95th Annual Meeting on April 16th, 2026.
